Thank you. I did a clean render in Zbrush and then textured it in Photoshop. I made a little workflow guide just now to show it of.

Amazing. I love fully realized hard surface models in ZBrush, and this just made my night. Immediately feeding to the inspiration folder.

How exactly did you go about the smaller nuts/bolts/screws, like the four bolts on it's sternum? I think they're separate subtools, but I wasn't totally sure. Just curious.

The presentation is an awesome bonus as well. I really dig it. :D

Thanks! Glad you like it.

You and lots of other people have asked so I made a little workflow chart. Check it out. :)
Hope it helps.

I just found it, and it totally changed the way I've thought about approaching hard surface modeling in ZBrush.

Thank you so much! :D

You said mega huge download and bam! it becomes my new background, inspiring stuff. Although I'm curious... in the first WIP it looks like 1 subtool, did you keep it that way? Or was that just for the base and you added more along the way?

Hah! Thank you! Yeah I kept it as one subtool. Not very optimal but I never thought I would go this far with the model. Was just supposed to be a little lunch doodle. :D

That's really cool being able to pack all of that detail with just 1 subtool (though I can't image the number of sub divisions :P) Thank you for answering! I've been trying to figure out people's process in zbrush and figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Yeah, lots of subdivs....ugh.

I'll happily answer any questions, it never hurts to ask :D. I just uploaded a little picture describing my process on this model.
